Leak from Center No. 2 Support Bearing Assembly

"Center No. 2 Support Bearing Assembly" - that's what the service manual calls it. Rear prop shaft. Area around "drain hole" wet with some kind of oil.

That the service manual refers to a drain hole on this part implies there should be a fill hole. Maybe not - maybe it's just to drain moisture.

Anyway, mine's draining some lube. Anyone seen this before?

If this is the carrier bearing then it's not leaking anything. It may be oil from the road that was kicked up or something. The hole is to drain out water and shit that's kicked up from the wet road. I wouldn't be worried about that at all. If that "leaked" the little amount of lube/grease that's in it then you'd know because you would experience harsh vibration and crazy noises.
