Just got my taco a few weeks ago and I've been trolling the site ever since. Any other Texas or Dallas threads I should keep up with?

(Also my first time joining a forum)

Welcome! Lot of great information here and a great place to BS. The BS can be heavy at times so navigate according to your needs.

We have a running DFW thread, linked in my signature, whwre we have monthly meetups. April and May, the lot of us have been focused on trips and Lonestar Jamboree so no big meetup, should resume soon.

Game, set, and match. Favorite hefe, favorite beer. Haven't found it anywhere in Austin for some reason. But, behold, WholeFoods 365 stocks it. Happy days.

Bird is cool, but I'm still a huge fan of the hard bop of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane. Also like Bobby Hutcherson, Charles Mingus, Lee Morgan, Coleman Hawkins, Wes Montgomery, Horace Silver, Bill Evans...

I have to stop, but I could keeeeeep going...

Here is some Texas BS. Texas Auto South Dealership Webster Texas
Worst experience I have ever had in buying a used Vehicle
    The Breakdown
March 29 my 2009 Tacoma Burned to the ground during a lightning storm in Cameron LA. Who Knows how or why, but I Digress. Found a 2015 Access cab on said Dealerships website, listed at $29989, called them up talked to Salesman "MM" offered 28989, offer accepted with the Caveat that I deposit $500 to hold for me until I get off work, (I work Offshore) so 3 weeks hold time. Two days later I requested a Buyers order or Purchase agreement, received agreement via Email, now it has a $299 charge for "Security glass Etching". Called salesman inquired about charge and was told "We do that to all of our Vehicles as soon as they hit the Lot". Informed said Salesman I wasn't paying that BULLSHIT markup, and that they should have brought that up when agreeing on the price. Was then given the run around for a week about our agreement, talked with Sales Manager "KC" explained my problem with BULLSHIT charge and he offered to drop price of Vehicle by $299 dollars, I agreed to the solution. Then requested Routing Number and account number for wire transfer for closing of the Deal when I got off work and arrived at the Dealership. It took many request to acquire this info but received it five days later. Two days before I got off work April 22 I received a phone call from "F" and was told Vehicle is no longer available but the have a really nice 2015 Quad cab they could let me have for such and such price. Told "F" to F*** off and die and refund my money. It took many phone calls and Threats to get my money refunded, took until May 4 to get money refunded. These guys sold this vehicle and will not admit it. Would not recommend them to ISIS or Al Queda, they SUCK3a4d24a064007dea08ef2d302d.jpg Vehicle I put money down on
