You'd be surprised about the deals 18 year old kids fresh in the military will sign. Predatory dealers are lined up outside the gates of almost every military installation waiting on a fresh kid with a bad haircut.

Check your state's lemon laws. In some states there is a limit to how long a vehicle purchased new can sit in a dealership for a warranty repair. Most require a combination of three repairs for the same issue and a certain total number of days in the shop. If you know the law it might come in handy if/when you want to negotiate for compensation, like a free extended warranty upgrade to boost your confidence in their repair and the brand.

$70K trucks you'd think this wouldn't be an issue. You'd get in and the moment you put your feet down on the carpet you'd here mush and water would come up.
My dad's truck did this, they replaced all the carpets along with everything else affected.
