The top one I inherited from a great-grandfather. It is a British built double-barrel (20-guage) from the 19th century made by Wm. Moore & Company. Damascus twist steel construction. Yes, the stock was broken when I got it and had been "repaired" with old school electrician's tape; (back when it was still made of cloth) and sealed with a shellac. I intend to leave it that way.

The bottom one is a Savage Model 24 varmint gun. Single-shot over/under double-barrel. The upper barrel is a .22LR and the bottom barrel is a .410 shotgun. It too was an inheritance.

    Thanks.

And before anyone comments that the scope mounts on the AR are on backwards, I'm aware of that. My eyes ain't what they used to be and that was the only way I could get it to work so that I had a decent view through the scope. If I put them on "properly" the eyepiece of the scope was too far away from my shooting eye to get a decent view.

Hey buddy did you know the scope mounts on the ar are backwards? I guess your eyes aren't what they used to be.

California gun laws suck for hobbyists, but guess I can't let them take my range time R&R away. My bastardized featureless ATI M4.

Ahhh thanks. I got a $23 red dot from Amazon. Figured I'd give it a shot. I also ordered a UTG riser but I went with the high since I'm going for lower 1/3 co-witness. Is the medium riser giving you absolute co-witness? I'm literally trying to find out which riser to use before my shipment goes out in case I need to change it...

Not sure yet. Bought 3 weeks ago. Too busy with school to go shoot. Hope to zero in next week. Going for absolute co-witness.

I'm more of a collector or U.S. service weapons, although I do have a couple AR's an AK and a few others. Here is a pic of my service rifle collection. The Garand on the bottom I have sold since this pic was taken. IMG_0588.jpg

I like that trench sweeper you've got up there. Always wanted an M97, but when they pop up for sale around here they're god-awful expensive.

Yes, they sure are. It is also one of the most faked guns out there. The one in my pic is legitimate although has been through at least one WW2 rebuild so it is not as it left the factory in 1918 which greatly diminishes it's value in the eyes of serious collectors. My father bought it back in 2009 and just recently passed it over to me. It's definitely a keeper.

HK P30. Bought it a while ago to carry and loved everything but the trigger (it had nothing on my Sig P series SRT's), so it took a trip to Gray Guns. Now it's a shooter, and I had them NiB the slide, so the cleanup and draw are effortless.
