I have a 98 RAV4 that I drive in the winter and for running errands. When I bought my Tacoma I was going to sell it. I can easily afford both vehicles. What would you do?

I bet most of you wouldn't even drive this, I call it a GUV.

I can't drive the beater in the winter, it doesn't have heated seats.

The beater car is the most fun car in the world.

I'd love a third car for the winter but I know my wife would kill me. My old '93 Xtracab was basically a beater car back when I had my STi and I had more fun in that truck than any other vehicle I've owned. It was so much fun not caring about going through puddles, parking wherever I wanted to in the lot, driving over things because I could, etc, etc.

the ol camry and corolla! its crazy how long they'll run. my best friends dad had one for god knows how many miles and it still ran just fine the day he traded it in on a new one! I think one of them would be my DD if the need ever arised.

I don't have one, but I want an old Land Rover for running the dogs to and from the woods, and for other possible shenanigans.

You can buy running Jeep Grand Cherokees for under $500 around here. I think I might get one, the 4.0l straight 6 has more towing capacity than my 2.7l. It's comparable with the 5VZ power wise.

    Plus 4x4.

I've got a 1997 Ford F-250 HD with the 5.8L (351W) in it and a E4OD trans with 375,000 on the clock. No joke.

It's a rough riding HD truck but it runs smoothly still and will haul a full round bale of hay in the bed no problem.

Been trying to sell it for some time now but it's pretty high mileage and needs an owner not afraid of DIY auto projects. Could definitely use a new exhaust manifold gasket so it sounds less like a beater. Haha.

I just scored my wife a deal on a brand new car (Ford Escape). Now her 2004 Volvo S80 with 200,000 miles is gonna be a drift car like this:
