Im thinking of getting the hood and roof re-shot but wondering how much blending will have to be done? The previous owner looks like he never waxed these areas OR there was a paint adhesion/clear coat issue before and now its very faded and almost sanded looking with bubble looking spots on it

Anyone else ran into this issue with the 2009 silver truck? Any ideas what it might cost ballpark to have this done?

    thanks

My 08 is doing the same thing. Roof right above windshield, the clearcut is breaking down. My hood is looking like the paint has a bunch of scratches on it. This is the clearcut failing also. I wax, but the Florida sun is a bitch on paint. Sucks.

On mine it's the plastic fender flares that seem to have the thinnest paint, the roof and hood still look new.

I get pissed when I look at it. I wonder what the cost would be to have the hood and roof repainted ? I'm a firm believer that you never get as good of a paint job than what comes from the factory......

    Maybe I'm wrong.
