It's the first hot sunny day on the oregon coast so I decided to make the most of it by plasti dipping the grille and badges black and taking off the v6 on the back. It's the only 2nd coat have 5 more to go. Will post pictures of it all done but here's a preview 20170503_132651.jpg

    Looks great! Good job!

I personally took off the V6 badge on the tailgate and placed black decals over the TACOMA. :)

Did nothing just cleaned them up real good with microfiber towel and hot water. Let them dry off in the sun for a couple hours then started dipping.

Nice! Love mine plastidipped. Did 6 coats and it's held up great! No chips or anything and it's been about 6 months

How do you wash it? I use a power washer but I'm not sure if the dip will hold up to that.

I have just been using my microfiber wash mit and it works pretty well but they make something called a "dip washer" and its basically the same thing as "The Absorber" drying towels from Advance Auto or Walmart. Instead of using it to dry the car you can also use it to wash plastidip.

I'm planning on doing this on Sunday. I missed my opportunity with the nice weather in Oregon :(
