I recently picked up a BLU Logic system off Amazon for $65. I have wanted one for a while since I have the 6MT it's a pain to talk and shift but had put it off because of the price. When I saw it for sixty bucks I couldn't say no! I could have went with a aftermarket head unit but I like the factory head unit and don't care for the looks of most all aftermarket units. The install was super easy, anyone can install this. Here we go!

    Saftey:
    -Disconnect your battery.
    -Eye Pro
    -Ear Pro
    -Gloves
    -Helmet
    (All Optional)

    Tools:
    -Plastic Panel Tool
    -10mm Socket & Ratchet
    -Long Extension
    -Scissors or Snips
    -3M Velcro

First off make sure you have everything! The kit includes the switch, wiring, module, Mic and various foam pieces and zip ties.

Remove the AC controls. This is simple, take your pry too and gently pop the bottom loose and then pull outward, remove or let rest.

Now you will be able to access the 4 - 10mm bolts holding the head unit in. Remove them and place them in the cup holder. Now you can remove the head unit by lifting up and pulling back at the same time. Go ahead and disconnect the antenna and all the connections on the back. Set aside.20170505_123411.jpg 20170505_123519.jpg20170505_123627.jpg 20170505_123950.jpg 20170505_123938.jpg
With the radio set aside take the glove box out and feed the BLU Logic harness down through the dash. You will have plenty of room to do so. With the harness routed connect the male ends of the harness to the back of the head unit and then the female ends into the male ends of the factory harness. There will be (on mine anyway) one factory connector that is not included in the BLU Logic harness. You will just connect it back the way it came apart.20170505_124649.jpg 20170505_123900.jpg 20170505_123950.jpg
Once everything is plugged back in you can slide the head unit back in. Don't forget the antenna! There is planty of room to slide it back in. Once it is in go ahead and hook the "brain" up to the harness and test everything out. Hold the phone icon on the switch until you hear a series of beeps. This will place it into "discoverable" mode. Your device should be able to locate it. Pair to it and enter the pass code - 1,2,3,4. Screenshot_20170505-130313.jpg

Everything works! Music sounds perfect! It only comes through the front speakers but to me it doesn't sound any different. Now, let's finish this up. Next let's install the switch. I only had one blank not in use, the center one below the AC controls between the ATRAC and AUX port. To remove the blank I stuck my paw down in there and pushed down on the top clip and with another finger pushed out towards me. It came out easily. 20170505_125420.jpg
Here you can see the tab to push down to remove the blank.

Remove the switch from it's wiring harness and pop it in. Phone emblem facing down!
The wiring harness has a section in the middle that you can remove to shorten the harness. Run the harness through the gap and out the glove box area, connect it to the switch. Next zip tie the switch wiring and the main harness wire together where they meet. Now let's mount the brain! I looked around under there for a good place to mount it and found this empty area in front of the passenger door on the body. 20170505_131319.jpg

To get to the area you need to remove the plastic cover. Pull up on the door seal piece (don't remove, just loosen) then remove the plastic connector in the foot well, it looks like a old school floor board dimmer switch. Then pull the plastic cover straight back towards the passenger seat/door seal. I got a picture of the area to mount it but it doesn't give ant indication of where it is. I put Velcro on the back of the module and then put the other strip on the body under the cover and ended up with this. 20170505_131424.jpg20170505_132149.jpg
Once installed plug the harness in. I mounted my mic along the top of the windshield directly above my head. If you want to mount it somewhere else go ahead and do your thing! Everyone else, right this way. Remove the A pillar. Pop the two covers off and remove both 10mm bolts.20170505_132245.jpg 20170505_132431.jpg
For those of you that don't know, that's a airbag. We don't want anything in the way of it! The backside of the grab handle brackets are a perfect place to run the cable for the mic. I secured it in several places with some heavy duty canvas tape I had laying around. I don't want anything buzzing and I don't want clearance issues with zip tires. Run the wire up along the front of the headline tucking it in as you go. I was able to snake my fingers in there and tape it to the headliner in a couple places to keep it from dropping down. Mount your Mic!

I can't see the Mic when I'm driving, you can't see if from the outside due to my tint and the black adhesive. Test everything again! My wife said I sounded crystal clear on the phone. The install is done after the test. Tighten down the 4 10mm bolts holding the head unit in. Install the A.C. controls. Put the kick panel back in, button down the door seal. Install the A pillar cover, double check that nothing is contacting the airbag and that if it deploys there is no way the wire will interfere with its operation. Tidy up your wiring behind the glove box with some zip ties and make sure everything is out of the way and not a bird's nest. Take your time and make it look nice. Put the glove box back in and enjoy! This is a VERY simple install. I was done in less than an hour and that was with me being OCD with the wiring. The system works great and it's a pleasure to use. My ONLY complaint is that to adjust call or music volume you use the device and not your head unit. I will update after more use!

Thanks for this. I installed a different bluetooth unit and can hardly hear the other person on the speakers.

    question>>>
I assume steering wheel controls for volume only works for radio and must use blu logic volume switch when streaming music?

    Stock...but they’re wearing out :)
Gevening all. I’m at the point where I’m testing the connection to my phone. Beeps are not coming through the speakers and I think it’s because my head unit doesn’t have an Aux/CD but just a CD mode.
    - or maybe because I just moved the ignition to On Vice starting it up. Any advice?
