I have a 2017 with premium Entune. There is an empty socket on back of unit, top middle. Anyone know what it's for.

Also, my nav cursor just spins along with compass on center display. Hoping someone has easy fix before taking it in. I've tried re-seating all plugs. Seems to follow along route just fine.

    Thanks

Bro! Did this just start out of nowhere after you were running fine with your audio upgrade? Just asking because after my last upgrade my Bluetooth didn't work because a plug got lost in the mix. And had issues with GPS resetting the clock for a day or 2
I can pull my unit tomorrow and send you a picture k. Personally I don't use the Nav I use the google map feature on my iPhone

The nav has been that way since day 1. I pulled the unit to see if anything was loose from the factory. Noticed the empty socket. Wonder if that's for JBL?

I don't use it either, but would be nice to get it working correctly...

I think that plug is for satellite radio. Have you read through the nav and multimedia manual? Could be a setting in the unit. Did you tap on the compass on the screen? Hope you get it resolved.

I have satellite radio and everything works fine. Yea, I've read just about everything. Had one if the entune guru's at the dealer look at it real quick. He tried a few things and got the cursor to stop spinning but the map just spun in circles instead...lol...he tried removing and reinstalled the SIM card with no luck. Said a tech could look at it in a few hours. Said I will set up appt when I have 5k service done.

Sounds like a good plan . Put that on your list for 5k service! Hope your rear diff is dry when you go in or they'll take your truck hostage.

It will be another 4-6wks before I take it in at 5k. Dry so far and hopefully they will have things figured out by then.
