Looks like an Sr5 Tacoma to me. The TRD Off roads didn't come with those steelies, however someone could have put them on, just like they put that TBD sticker on.. Easiest way to see if it really is an off road is to see if it has a Rear Diff Lock button in the area to the left of the steering wheel. Should be the middle button of the top row to the right of the fog light switch.

I personally don't think it's an offroad, looks more like an sr5 model to me.

The TRD offroads almost always include the SR5 package, however Sr5's are not always TRD offroads. hope this helps some. Also another thing to check would be if the truck has the inverter/power outlet in the bed on the passenger side. This would be indicative of the TRD off road package(since it has the chrome rear bumper and black side mirrors- OR models also have a chrome grille but this was standard on Sr5's so you have to dig a little deeper to see if its an OR). TRD sports also had the inverter in the bed, but they have color matched mirrors, rear bumper, grille, and a scooped hood- so this obviously isn't a sport. Its either a standard Sr5 or a TRD OR with the SR5 package

Edited to add: Welcome by the way!

"TBD" is not an official package offered from the factory.

This truck is an SR5, which is the convenience package. TRD packages are added onto the SR5 package.

Nope, only the 05-08 sports had a mechanical LSD. The 09+ models came standard with the Auto LSD (Brake controlled). This one is just open diffs

I wonder what the seller thinks TBD stands for? The description also says "factory TBD package factory upgraded wheels" - those are not upgraded wheels, just steel (decent, but not an upgrade). Also, seller says "slide in bed liner", which isn't true, it's a composite bed. No steel under that, it's all very sturdy "plastic"... Just tells me that the seller doesn't really know these trucks. I'd double-check everything they say. Also, get the VIN # and run it here: https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Toyota that should give you more info. There are other VIN decoders out there...

Well do you guys see anything super special? I guess its a typical SR5 which i think to be a good truck anyways, I like the low miles too.

A bit high in price for a 2005 no matter the low miles.

I agree with @lynlan1819. Just too steep of a price for a 2005 SR5, even at 80k miles. You can get a TRD for that kind of money, but with more miles. Don't be scared of the miles. My 08 has 123k and drives just like it did when I got it at 54k

The TBD decal is from a website/Instagram page called Tacomabeast. It stands for Tacoma Beast Development. Its their own little spin on TRD. Their website is currently under construction so you won't be able to see it. Here's a Google search for the decal.
