Should I get a spacer lift on the front?

My taco has fox 2.5's from and back, it sits perfectly level with the back, but the preload of the coil is tightened down super far to make the front sit that level, making the ride super rough, unless I'm going really fast. So I want to loosen it to make it ride softer, but that will make me sit uneven, so should I just get a coil spacer to level it back out?

post your full suspension setup and someone can offer more advice. shoving a spacer in there is not always the best idea

I don't totally understand your full setup, however I just tore out a cheap front spacer lift on my 99. It rode awful and my front suspension had zero droop so every pothole was jarring!

Fox shocks are designed to get softer with speed so that makes sense but you have a real legit suspension set up. I beg of you to not mess with anything especially adding a spacer which will make the ride just as rough

are you the same guy that posted how your bottom shock mounts are oblonged a couple weeks ago? by the looks of it they are the in the pics by quite a bit. your probably loosing 1/2-3/4" lift because of it. truck looks like its as high as it would want to be so your probably compensating that lift loss with preload. fix the mounts and you can back off on the preload and keep same amount of lift.

if still rough go to a softer spring rate.

Yeah I'm the guy who posted that, I'm still waiting on being able to weld the mounts, but definetly not going to do the the spacer, I'll get fixed, and get a good spammer wrench, and I'll take the spring rate down, like you said
