Reviving and old thread. Aux works intermittently, popped it out, almost all the solders are cracked. Going to resolder and see if that works

    Edit: it worked

Does anyone know if there is a replacement for the AUX input jack that is USB?

You can't just swap the aux jack with a usb jack, the signals that they pass are completely different.

I know this is an old thread, but it was incredibly useful today. I had the misfortune to break the end of a 3.5mm audio jack off in the aux port on a 2011 Tacoma. Using this post I was able to get the aux port out and then disassembled down to the chip board and finally after many attempts was able to push the broken end of the jack out of the input socket. Whew! and Thanks!
