I've been trying to sell a Snap On toolbox and I've had enough of dealing with broke people. I've been half tempted to just trade in both my Snap On boxes for one new one. I'm ok with leaving money on the tool guys plate and pulling money out of my pocket for a new one. I'm aware this might hurt, but it might preserve my sanity. I'm not in the trade anymore, but know who my local Snap On guy is.

Has anyone ever traded in multiple boxes?

You may be surprised. A buddy of mine that works at a Subaru dealership trades boxes with the Snap On guy pretty frequently. From what he told me they get a kick back for selling them to someone and then financing them. Has he given you an offer yet?

Not yet. I'll shoot him a message this week with what model numbers I have. I won't be financing any balance I'll just pay any difference in cash.

Yeah but whoever he sells yours to probably will. Hopefully he gets you hooked up and you get a shiney new toy box!

The thing is I'm not selling anything that expensive. I feel I priced them right, but no dice. Just a lot of people will silly offers or trades where I might was well be trading it in.

Each Snap On dealer is different so if you like yours go for it

As long as you are happy with what your dealer offers for your boxes .

My Dealer would put me in touch with customers wanting to sell used boxes I would give more then what he could been a few years since he got out and my tool truck buying was finished for the most

Then if you could not sell them it tells me the market is slow in your area .

Then you did not say just which ones

It finally sold it this afternoon for a whopping $80 less than I was asking. An older guy got a good deal on a box and I got a pocket full of dollars.
