    Hello,

I recently traded my Silverado in for my new-to-me 2015 Access Cab.
I used a Mobius as my Dash Cam in the Chevy, like this:

The USB plug is an iSimple IS43.

I want to replicate this setup in my Tacoma, and I'd feel pretty lucky if there was already a switched 12v power source up there. Does anyone know? Otherwise I'll go get some wire to run up there from the fuse box .

    Welcome.
    Pull your overhead console.
Some 2015s were prewired for a homelink mirror. If you find a connector not plugged into anything you're good to go.
If not you'll need to run wires up there.

That looks like the one to me.
Also careful reinstalling the console. If you don't take that metal clip out of the ceiling and clip it back to the console it will get ruined.

I really like it. I just unplug the cable and pull the camera away from the magnet (it's one of the Scosche mag mounts).

If you have the other harness for the OEM compass, then the wires you want are Tan w/ black stripe is Ground, and Green is +12v switched on when ignition switch is in run position. Please note theses two wires are slightly a larger gauge than the others.

20170506_102912.jpg The harness I tapped for power is the one in the bottom left most position in the attached photo.

    I think it's the following:
    Green: Ignition
    White with black stripe: Ground
    Red: Always hot
