I learned how to drive on an 84 Subaru Wagon. No power anything, not even fuel injection. I wish that car was still alive

My buddy just finished the internals and turbo in his '96. Same color scheme as yours. His dyno was right about 250 crank hp.
They are like little go karts.

Welcome, I was in Centreville until a month ago.
Now I'm 20 min West out by Aldie.
I'm fairly low key with my truck, but I stick out because I usually have a kayak on the bed rack.

From the forum I've only randomly seen @Truggin and @fatfurious2 on the roads. But in all seriousness no one will notice me because the only "mod" you can see on the road is my ditch lights.

I own a mobile home over by 50 and 28 that we bought back before the housing bubble burst. We bought a place off stringfellow road back in 2012 but we are now separating and i am moving back to the other place once our renters vacate so ill be close to south riding a lot. If the truck was dark gray (MGM), it was probably @CanisLupus he used to live over there.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
First truck was a 65 chevy stepside, no power steering, windows, or brakes. Just 535 hp at the rear wheels. Plus it started out as 3 on the tree too until I swapped it out to a built auto. Wanna talk about an experience to drive...

My old man had the first year red Miata with a four cylinder. I couldnt imagine that thing with a turbo, must of been fun.

That's a great project car and as you probably already know, tons of aftermarket support for not a lot of coin. I plan to pick one up myself someday...but its a tough sell right now since I traded my S2000 for the Taco. So many cars, so little time....

Oh yeah, I know where that is. Right near the El Fresco?

Might have been MGM - thought it was silver. Either way, nice truck, look forward to seeing you guys on the road!

meh... I'm just lazy I guess... I prefer Automatic's in my commuter... sit back, relax, drive.... instead of constantly clutching in in stop and go traffic... then again, the last car I commuted in often had a stage 3 clutch :(

yea man, I'm excited to get it all cleaned up and on the road again... the thing has been sitting underneath a tree for the last year so it's pretty dirty... but a good wash / wax will shine it right up. I'm going to do a full tune up just for shits and gigs... probably take it in to a shop and have them put it on a lift to see underneath of it and see if there are any leaks that I couldnt see from the top... but for $1,000 I'm happy either way.

absolutely! I already stumbled upon LS swaps
