So I took apart my door lock actuator and lock works great except I failed to test it before closing the door and now the door handle on the inside and outside will not work. So basically its stuck closed.

Any ideas on how to get the door opened so I can take it apart again????

Would you have the part numbers for those actuators? My pass side crapped out. Thanks.

I'd like the part number for the drivers side too if you don't mind.

This is why I haven't pulled it apart to try and repair it myself. I'm nervous something like this may happen and the door will be stuck shut.

I have the same problem. I took the actuator apart to clean and possibly replace the actuator motor. I reassembled the actuator and closed the door. The actuator motor is now working, but the boor will not unlock. Is there any way to resolve this short is busting up the old actuator, forcing an unlock , then replacing the actuator???
