As the title states, I'm looking to get my truck painted. I work in LA but live in San Diego so pretty much those 2 places, and anywhere else inbetween is good as long as the work is good and the price is right. Anyone got anything?

And for my information, if anyone remebers what they paid to have a dblcab LB painted..post that up as well. Just want to start budgeting. Thamks!!

Cost would depend on a lot of things #1 being the condition of the existing paint and body work needed to fix any dents or dings. Second would be the quality of paint used which could be hundreds of dollars apart. A collision body shop I would guess $2500-$3000 or more just to paint with minimal prep. A small shop maybe $2000. If you're changing color add more$$$$. $.02

My truck right now is White. Paint is on the hammered side but not completely horrible. As far as dents, I have a few that are by my rear window of all places...and I honestly could care less if those get pulled out or not. I would like to go to the "cool-guy-gray" that EVERYONE in SoCal has these days (charcoal gray I believe). But if it was significantly cheaper, I would just stay with white
