Got my Falken Wildpeak tires on the Falken truck, haven't taken any Falken pictures yet but they look Falken schweet.

 

Most of that stuff is all the same. DONT use that crap from Home Depot. Stinger makes some really good stuff that's on Amazon prime it $73. Stuff works really well as I have used it on a ton of different vehicles. Then also put their mat over it in some cases. DONT use Home Depot ( frost king ) crap

- and mounted them to the cross bars on the topper frame.

Then I tied into the same circuit I have the bed rail lights on.

I just ordered a dimmer switch for them so I have a little better control over them since I sleep in the bed alot while camping. I want the option to have them on when Im in there but not have them bright as they can be.

 

I added a sunroof to my parts truck

Also decided to make the opening section of the rear window larger

 

Installed new front wheel bearing assemblies and inner seals that I received last week from @BamaToy1997 . I had a strong vibe and howling that started around 55 MPH up to around 75. I replaced the needle bearing with ECGS bushing about a month or so ago, but the vibe was still there. It needed replacing anyhow since there was a LOT of CV play at the diff. So I chatted with Bill (BamaToy1997) and he helped me diagnose it as the front bearings...around 89k on the originals.

I have to say that Bill's products are assembled extremely well and he pays attention to the details. I was very impressed just by the packaging alone (see pic below). I hate getting stuff from other places that just throw it in a box and ship it...thanks Bill!

 

Most everyone says that the majority of the cab noise comes from the back wall. I did the back wall first, then the floor, roof, and the doors last. My truck is a 2015 completely done with sound deadner and you can definately tell a difference when compaired to a truck that hasnt had it done. My father has a 2016 without any sound deadner and after riding in mine and then getting in his I feel like we talk louder to hear each other. It's definitely worth the cost to do the back wall. I think it took 3-4 sheets to do it and you be glad you did it. I would also definitely recommend doing the roof as well, its soo much quieter especially when its raining.

I bought my shok deadner during the last 2 group buys they had in the past. I think I spent around $275 give or take ( I can't remember exactly) it was cheaper than dynomat. When ever I trade vehicle from now on installing sound deaner will be one of the first mods I do to a vehicle.

 

Just helped me diagnose my 55mph vibe. I had a feeling that the wheel bearings were coming due on mine as well, 94K

 

The wife spilled an extra large Starbucks blah, blah, blah all over the passenger seat of her Grand Cherokee so I had to rent a carpet cleaning machine with the upholstery attachments to clean it and since I had the machine for 24hrs I cleaned the carpet and seats of my Tacoma also.

Smells much better in there now...

 

Did you take the rings out with or without taking the dash apart?

 

What you're asking about is generally referred to as a shackle flip. There are a few companies that make kits. That one looks like it might be the Archive Garage kit. Armor Tech Offroad and SOS also make shackle flips. You have to grind/drill/hammer out the rivets that hold on the factory hanger, then just bolt in the new hangers.

Yep I was looking at them, but ended up going with SOS Concepts down in S. Carolina. Even with the shipping, they were still $100 cheaper for the same type of sliders.

I drove up to lowes with nothing but deadened metal and 1 seat in thw cab and it was way quieter than when i drove up to lowes before anything was deadened and my back seats laying flat and back wallexposed.

 

I just bought that breaker bar you told us about, stop giving me ideas! I also bought a new car wash brush and some TRD center caps. Amazon is great!
