So here's the deal. I have a 1st gen & currently I have no suspension upgrades.. I am looking to do a 3" lift on it.

Not looking to do anything crazy, nothing too far over $1000 USD (I live in Canada so 1500 here)

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with the toytec ultimate coilovers in the front and add-a-leaf's in the rear (would do complete leaf springs & UAC when I have more cash). My confusion is with the ultimate lift kit on toytec's website. Heres what it says in the description..

    Also Includes:

    • RSBIL-R - Rear Bilstein 5100 Series extended length nitrogen gas shocks for optimum performance on or off road.

It says 5100 extended length & nitrogen gas shocks. So these ones included in the kit aren't the same as regular 5100's? If that's true I'm unsure of getting the 5125's or the 5100's for the rear. The description for the 5100’s by themselves say…

*Works with 1"-2.5" of rear lift*

    while the 5125's say:

    *for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 of rear lift*.

For a 3” lift I’d be going over the limit of the 5100s? So that means I should just get the 5125’s as 3” falls perfectly in the middle? Also I am new here, so hey everyone!

You might have to call/email them and specify that the 5100s are for a 3" lift. Or just go the 5125 route. It's up to you on how much you spend.

The 5125s and the 5100s are both the same price. If 5125's will work just fine then that's what ill do
