I mounted my stove with a Lazy Susan bearing to a pull-out shelf in the teardrop. This allows me to rotate the stove 90* once I pull out the shelf. It makes for a nicer cooking area.

You could do the same thing with your pull out over the tailgate.

I drilled 4 bolt holes (#10 I believe) in the base, used stainless steel bolts and fender washers. It has been 3 years, and I have never had any issues. Other than many good meals created... ;)

Hell yeah. Here's my 22" showing how well the Coleman ovens fit. I do have to tuck the windscreen into the lid for the ovens, but no windscreen needed on that side as the stove becomes one. Also threw a 10x10 cast iron griddle on there next to it.

For ignition, I just put a ferro rod and striker on a small caribiner and clipped it to the grill grate so I won't lose it (removed during use, of course!).

Thanks. I just take a bit of pride in this place. Hate seeing people treat it like a trash can.

I can't believe you got blocked for calling him out. That's really disappointing, considering those groups are usually pretty good at supporting LNT, for the most part. Apparently not, in this case. Everyone is all ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the pics of the snow depth instead of seeing exactly what you and I saw. We can't be the only ones that noticed what he was doing.

I got blocked by him personally. Not by the admin or the whole group.
The pussy didn't like the way I said things to him. Guess he got some beach sand in his vagina after his trip to the snow.

I think you mean the 1st and 3rd cases on this list. But I've posted about other cases so I don't know which picture you're referring to. Always best to quote a pic you're talking about.
Here are the Hardiggs. Ignore the garage mess as I'm in the process of tearing down and re-organizing my shelving.

For general storage, these IRIS weather-tight containers are pretty awesome. Academy sells them under a Remington brand name and they change $40 for one (which I bought because I am an idiot)! They sell that same Remington branded one on Amazon for $30, but you can also buy the IRIS ones in a 4 pack. The other colors are higher, but the brown ones are $88 for 4 of them, which is $22 each. Pretty great price.

I'm phasing out my bigger storage trunks in lieu of the gear room with open shelving. I'm so sick of digging through bins (even when organized and labeled) to find gear, that the only thing going in large bins will be very large items.

I would consider aluminum boxes for expo gear though...

I bought a couple big wood dressers at the second hand store and then built wood dividers in some of the drawers. It works pretty dang good!

I thought i saved them from when people talked about them.

But, looking for a great sleeping pad and a quilt instead of/as well as sleeping bag.

Just need a single size that'll be used all the time. Memory foam may be better than something that needs to be inflated, not sure how something that needs to be blown up will like repeating that daily.

I was thinking about working on making the platform in the bed better for sleeping, but i may lose the front passenger seat and have a nice flat area from the front into the rear to use as an inside sleeping area when i don't feel like setting up a hammock/tent.

I have a 0 and 20 degree bag but a quilt would be nice when i don't want to get into a bag.

This is kind of an answer but not exactly what you are looking for. My girlfriend is currently looking at a new bag. I have tried to steer her towards a quilt to since the insulation on the bottom of a bag is pretty useless.

I found a compromise with Big Agnes. They have sleeping bags that have no insulation on the bottom. Instead they have a sleeve that holds your sleeping pad. This makes sure that you never slide off and you don't get any unwanted drafts at night.

If you have a sewing machine, you can make a nice quilt using primaloft or a similar insulation. It's a very easy project, that requires very little skill and would be pretty cheap.

I've tried that sewing thing before... No dice.

And don't have time to learn with selling everything and building out the truck for this trip... And work until I'm finished and ready to roll.
