    Not Enough.
I just did the replacement adjustable shocks and re-used my factory coils.

But it looks right to me if you want to run aftermarket coils and lift the rear a little too. Don't put the clips above the second notch though. Those are heavier springs than factory, and you won't need to move the clip up as far to get the lift.

Also, skip the diff drop. It's useless, and I've heard some stories of it doing more harm than good. I'm not running one, and I do something in 4WD involving off road at least once a month or more.

I've never used that company either. They're moving so things are a little slow right now, but if you're not in a super big rush, check out Headstrong Offroad. They're a vendor here, and you can call and talk to Marie. She knows her stuff about these trucks and what works and what doesn't with suspension. Super great company to deal with.

Nope. 5100s on the rear too. They make a rear emulsion shock thats standard length.

Well shoot I'm really having trouble deciding on a lift... I want to purchase the lift for less than 1,000, I dont need anything for extreme off roading, just general trail use around our farm property, but nothing that is absolute crap like blocks for the rear... I will call Marie at head strong tomorrow, but any advice that you know of? Thanks for all your help btw I'll make sure to thank you and show you when its all said and done!

Under a grand is totally doable. Full set of 5100s is less than that. Could probably get the 5160 for under a grand (i haven't priced those oit though)

Ooooor....try to find some 2016+ trd comomete shocks. I think (keyword here, i cant remember for sure) that these also provide lift for 2nd gens

Do you think if I go ahead and get the lift and give it a try without buying aftermarket UCA's that will be okay for a couple months to try it? I am dying to get it lifted, but really would like to try it without getting new UCA's haha, at least not yet. It would be my next upgrade

Agreed. I ran mine the same way for about the same timeframe. I was on stock springs though. Like I said though, if you get that kit with the Eibach coils, I wouldn't go past the 2nd notch. It's already going to ride a decent amount rougher than stock with those 620# springs and no armor up front.

I did the same with mine, the one thing I can say is my truck tracked really bad and followed every small rut/groove in the road. Aftermarket UCA's, I got the built right, fixed it to like new driving which is way more pleasant.

So it rides rougher you're saying, but the benefit is just its stronger or what besides the lift (the struts and coils that is)?

Okay well it is looking like I'll go ahead and get the light racing UCA's, not sure yet though, heard any good things about those anyone?

It's just a stiffer spring. I think factory springs are something like 540#-550# and the Eibach are 620#.

I've got a set sitting in my garage I'm about to put on as soon as I get a chance. So far, they look and feel quality.
