Big Ben Roethlisberger drama in my town??

So I just got a call from a friend to tell me about crazy shit from last night. This is the bar I usually hang out at.. ya know at least once a week. Im always there on either Thursday or Saturday. But I just happen to be out of town when Big Ben shows up.

They are saying he's not being charged and I hope it stays that way. I really love watching Ben play, sucks some chick is trying to get a piece of the money (just my prediction)

What is this like the third time this has happened? Roethlis-something is over-rated, overpaid, and apperently a criminal.

I would offer the following...... The original complaint against Roethlisberger last year was filed by a girl who I not only know personally but who's Family I have a close personal relationship with. Her Father was my Captain for many years and he's one of the finest Men I've ever met. I watched the news and Sports channels when the story broke with more than a passing interest and can attest to how difficult it was for those involved.

I would respectfully ask that before accusing anyone of being a money grubbing B*#h, be open minded enough to entertain the idea that there may have been a horrible violation comitted here. I can't help but look at my little girls and imagine something like this happening to them......Breaks my heart.

I really enjoy the NFL, admire the abilities of those who play it well and will continue to watch. I've also watched an everyday, normal Family face an enormous emotional and financial burden with stregnth and dignity that all the money in the world wouldn't change.....That I admire more.

 

I understand what you are saying and feel for your friend. Like I said before, it was my prediction and I have no clue what happened obviously. We'll see in the next week or so I guess
