The tire shop could also hire the same 17 year old guy. I know people who have had problems dealing with tire shops.

I know I'm replying to my own question but just wanted to put it out there for anyone wondering. I had my tires mounted at my local Toyota dealer (team Toyota in steubenville oh). They did a great job, no scratches or marks, tires are balanced well and they were way cheaper than any tire shop around the area. Obviously YMMV with other dealers.

Just to add to this...I'm pretty anti-dealership so I went to a tire shop to get my new wheels and tires mounted. Got a good deal and they installed everything fine but they didn't have a road force balancer and I got pretty bad steering wheel shake on the highway. I knew I needed to find a RFB so I looked around and turns out the dealership had one so I reluctantly decided to take it there. They put them on the RFB for $60 (much less than I was expecting) and found 2 to be well out of spec and needed to be returned to BFG for replacements. Took it back to the tire shop who "didn't believe in RFB's" so ended up returning all 4 tires to that shop and going back to the dealership to get 4 new ones for nearly the same price. All was good after that and I was pretty happy with the service at the dealership.

Are you going to sell your MDB SR8s if you get Ray 10s? I would consider buying them if you are and I don't get my wheels through tonight's lottery grab. I'm local to you.

As per what i can see on the picture, looks like you did pretty good to have them not sticking out pass your flares and seems to be just at the right width. Any rubbing issues with the 285's? Thanks

The tires only rubbed when I had 4 people in it reversing at full lock, the tires would rub on mud flaps. I removed the mud flaps and have not heard or felt any rubbing, keep in mind the tires I have are only 4 ply and only have about 40-50 % tread.
