    Hello all,

I just got my toytech 2.5 inch hd springs, wheelers offroad 1.5 inch 3 leaf progresaive aal, and tuff country UCAs. Right now i have 5100s all around set at 1.75 in the front and sit level.

I am going to set the front on the second notch with the toytechs for 3 inches in the front and am wondering if the truck will sit with some rake if i leave the overload spring in the back with the aal. I would rather have it sit level and cant figure out if 1.5 or 2 with the overload left in will be right. The truck is a 2013 limited double cab short bed

Is anyone running this set up? Any help is greatly appreciated. I know this info might already be on here but ive spent a few hours looking with no luck.

Just my opinions here: instead of setting the HD springs on the first notch, which toytec advises against, grab their top plate spacers to get the full 3 inches that you want.

Second, I left my overload in when I had the progressive AAL on and it rode nicely. But If you're wanting it to be level, and you're doing the work yourself, adding or removing the overload is very easy, so I'd start without it and add it back if you need it.

Thanks for the reply. I will start at 1.5 and see how it sits.

I thought you could go up to the second clip setting and that was max.

Bilsteinlifts.com has this on their site.

1.5 to 3″ lift kit with Eibach front coils (3″ average lift is achieved with coils and setting the shock adjustment on the second C clip setting from the bottom)

Standard cab and 4cyl models should use the Lowest C Clip setting

DO NOT EXCEED THIS SETTING OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR

Is there any advantage to setting it on the botton clip and using a spacer. I thought it was the consensus that spacers should be avoided if possible.

Thanks for the feedback. Only want to do it once and not have to rip everything apart. Doing the front myself but have no experience with leaf packs so paying for a shop to do those.

Top plate spacers are different than coil spacers. A top plate spacer doesn't limit your suspension travel, it's just a way to get that extra 1/2" that you want to complete your full 3"

Got it. Thanks for the info. So if i set them on the bottom setting and used the top plate spacer would i have a bit more travel than compressing the spring to the second setting to get the .5 inch? This is my first truck, always had lowered fast cars before this so have never done a lift before. The help is greatly appreciated. Those are the springs in the link you provided.

So i would need a .5 inch top plate spacer correct?
