    That's a great idea! Take the chance that if you are discovered insurance can reject your claim and charge you with insurance fraud!

    Win-Win!:broccoli::brianr:

    Ok, we know you were joking with that suggestion.

    My insurance totaled the truck out! Total damage was $17k. They were going to fix it and put a new frame under it but there is a 3 month wait from Toyota for a new frame and another month of fixing the truck once the frame arrives. Rental fees would have been around $6k so they totaled it. I ended up hiring a lawyer because insurance did not want to cooperate with me at all! Offered me $28k for my truck with all my add ons! They priced it as a SR model! I respectfully declined their offer. My lawyer is working it out now. I'll let y'all know what they give me when we settle. I'm currently working with Midstate Toyota to purchase a new one. Looking at a 2017 tacoma Off Road Shortbed! Big plans coming soon if everything works out as it should!

    Were you able to remove any of your aftermarket parts that were still salvageable?

    Sad to see this happened, but glad it seems to be working itself out. What a pain in the neck though. Pun intended. :D

    Can you share the name of your insurance company?

    That sucks man and good call to lawyer up. Are you having any soreness that requires chiropractor visits or PT? Keep up with every penny you spend.

    I'm in GA,shipping prolly wouldn't be necessary. Assuming you don't reuse it and decide to sell some parts.
