    The bed sizes are very close but there are a slight differences. I'm not sure if you would notice with a bed tent, but I was going to buy a bed rack off a guy with a second gen and the bed rails sit lower on the third gen and they flare out towards the tailgate. (At least thats what I noticed when I tried to get the bed rack on).
