Chalk Test Results on Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx 265/75/16

I did a chalk test on my 265/75/16 ST Maxx's and I'm looking for some feedback. I started at 40 PSI cold and ended up at 38 PSI at the end of the test. As you can see in the pics, the outside shoulder of each tire are not wearing the same as the rest of the tire. I know this means that the tires are slightly over-inflated, but will this help on making turns? What do you think of these results overall? Should I leave it or air down further? This is my daily driver.

I say go lower. Those lugs are surprisingly big (so are the gaps) for the size tire it is. How does it sound on the road?

 

How much lower? They're Tundra lugs which are longer but the width is the same as the Tacoma lugs. They sound great on the road...arguably quieter than the AT3's I had before these.

 

Ha! I think he means the outside lugs on the tire! Tread blocks! Not Lug nuts!
