    I am about to purchase my first ever brand new vehicle. I would not buy new with any other vehicle but with a Tacoma seems like the smart choice considering resale and warranty. I live in Alaska and options are very limited. I am in the process of either buying a SR5 double cab long bed or a double cab trd OR manual short bed. Having a very hard time figuring out between the two. Really want the manual and won't always need a long bed but sure there are times when I might. Any help on this decision? I know a lot comes down to preference but I believe if something were to happen to the tranny On the long bed after warranty I would. E out a lot of cash compared to a new clutch. Thanks for any and all feedback.
