Nice, thanks! I'll need to get out there soon before the summer heat comes on full blast.

As I said before: if somehow all four were leaking and if you were still under factory warranty then you are a fool for not getting them replaced. Even if all four were leaking and you were only 2k miles over, I'll be willing to bet Toyota would of goodwilled them especially if the dealer seen no signs of abuse, since you claim you have owned multiple toyotas throughout your life, and also have a 2017 Tacoma you currently drive.

So instead of politely taking your truck in and seeing what can be done, you decide to come on here and rant away. I'm by no means a fan boy, nor taking any sides. I'm just having a hard time believing your claim. You still never answered my previous question, nor have posted any proof. I could careless really either way. I would of just handled it, and myself differently. Better hope karma doesn't strike you with that other Tacoma. Good luck

The government didn't bail out GM. They gave GM enough money to buy Toyota. didn't you know this?

I mean, I didn't know this. He told me because he was the only one who knew

    Let's recap:

    1. New Member

    2. Makes a threat basically throwing a fit about the truck (don't get me wrong, I get having complaints, but it's been beaten to death on 3rd gens).

    3. People respond, in a way we all knew they would

    4. Says he was trying to warn us about issues (obviously he hasn't been reading other threads)

    5. Says he isn't bothered by what people's responses are, but calls them queers...

OP, the issue is you started a thread to bash the car you bought. It's been done, and its tired, so that's how you get the backlash. Bilsteins are well made, I find it hard to believe you have all four leaking at 38k unless its getting hard use, IE it's operator's fault, not manufacturers. Maybe one is defective, but all 4? That's a tough sell. I hope you climbed under the truck yourself instead of taking the mechanic's word for it. A lot of mechanics would recommend replacing all 4 if just one is leaking, just fyi. If I had a leaking shock, I'd do all four. Shocks are usually driven way too long anyway. Most shocks are made to last 50k or so, meaning even if they're all leaking you got a decent amount of miles from them.
