    I understand where you're coming from. I don't know if they look cheap but I agree they may look better flush mount.
    One thing to consider is this design is about 5 years old. LED daytime running lights were just starting out and basically only the Audi's and a few other car brands had them at that time.

    I'm with you. I think they would look much better inside the headlight housing. Besides, they're not amber. :rolleyes:

    I added some flood lights to my headache rack, went with run-d pods. I didn't like how brackets looked, so I drilled into the headache rack and tapped threads into it. I used nylon washers and locktite on the bolts, so I can turn the lights in any direction, but usually leave them backwards.
    I'm pretty happy with the result, they make great work/camping lights.

Thinking of grabbing a pair of the side projecting pods, but I'm afraid it may not look good on my truck.     Installed some Morimoto LED Fog Lights but not sure on the adjustment. I matched it to the stock fog lights and there was a step/shift in the middle but was wonder if it should be a straight flush line?
