    Almost 25K miles on the MTP's now. Still holding balance fine, ware looks minimal, appears I'll get 80K miles out of 'em. They are getting loader as the miles add up, but it's a mud tire, right. I'm running 38 psi and get around 17 mpg average, if I try, 19-20 mpg. Next tire will be a "c" load range tire, these 10 plys are a little rough.

    I'm sure some other members running them will chime in with their experience, but what we are seeing from our end is that this tire is lasting 40K + miles on mid size trucks and SUV applications. Just bear in mind that mileage will vary based on location and driving style.

    Look at the weight of the tire in the size you want. That'll maybe help sway your decision. That definitely helped me picked these, because they were fairly light.

    The Trail Grappler is a solid model as well, and we're seeing life pushing close to 50K miles with this tire.

    As EatSleepTacos noted, the Trail Grappler does tend to weigh more due to robust internal construction, so you may see a hit in MPG with this model. Ultimately the right model for you will depend on your driving priorities and what you need from your tires.     Check out the chalk test. It'll tell you exactly what you need to run. With that being said, I was always too lazy to do that and ran 35 front and 33 rear.

    I have these in 285/75/16 on my 04 double cab Tacoma. Quick review.
    Great in the rain.
    Dig in the sand, must be aired down.
    Rock in the deep snow when aired down.
    Good in the mountains and drive nice down the road.
