So I've driven my buddies 2014 Wrangler JK and really liked the seats opposed to the seats in my 2016 Tacoma Sport.
Has anyone done a seat retrofit?
Either Jk seats or another brand?

    I'm curious if:
-Seat Belt Lights may constantly go off (still haven't figured out how to delete the chime)
-Side impact airbags, will this create a dash light?
-Does anyone make a harness bar for the 3rd gens?

Your best bet would probably be to stick with another Toyota product for a seat as it would most likely be more compatible. I sat in a RAV4 Hybrid the last time I was dropping off some papers at the dealer and they were about the same size as Tacoma seats but had much better thigh support.

Do the Jeeps come with optional power seats? I'm guessing they are far more comfortable

You could get your foam reworked from a seat shop. Probably wouldn't be a ton of money, either. They can add foam or shave to suit you.

I think there would be a warning light with removing the seats due to the side airbag...it may even be illegal in certain areas for on road use? Not sure about that though, but something to look into potentially.

Maybe unplug whatever is attached to your seat and check? Most of the wires are just kinda hanging down.
