    So
Almost got into a wreck the other day
Car ran the light and barely missed hitting the back of my truck, I swerved out of the way and as a result hit a curb pretty hard on the passenger side front wheel.
It knocked a few psi out of the tire and messed up my alignment. Took the wheel off and did a shake test on everything visible and got the alignment fixed.

Tonight as I was pulling out of a parking lot and back into the road I heard a pretty large clunk on that side.
Pulled over and looked but didn't see anything obvious and nothing was missing.... any thoughts on what could possibly be messed up if anything? It's got me all conscious of shit and I don't want to ignore it and it actually be something serious

I am trying to figure out what this issue could be stemming from

    Thoughts so far are
    Sway bar bushings
    Sway bar link
    Other suspension bushings

Seriously... Body mounts on Tacoma's are a little "suspect". Hard shot can cause issues with them. Also shocks. But lower control arm bushings are known "noise-makers" on Tacomas.

    Also, ball joints...

Random thought that you may have already done. Did you double check that the tech tightened everything back up properly???

Is there a way to test/diagnose on the body mount?
What part of the shock are you referring to being an issue? No visible cracks or warping on it.
Lower control arm bushing is on my list but I hope it's not cause I'm not a fan of changing them lol

And as for checking tightening I will be re tightening everything on that side today so if I missed something the first time I'll find it this time

Body mounts need to be examined OFF the vehicle. Too much trouble.

Next thing I'd suspect would be ball joints after a curb strike.

Shocks can be internal damage. Not as likely as other things

Just randomly "tightening" thinhs can be counterproductive. TORQUE STUFF to proper tightness for that individual fastener.....don't over tighten.

I highly doubt it's a body mount, you can check them to make sure they are tight but I'd imagine you won't find anything. Did you only hear it the one time? Can you find an area that might allow you to replicate it? Possibly find somewhere and have someone drive over it while you observe and see if you can pinpoint it better.

Nothing worse than waiting around on a seller to get back to you about a offer. Especially when it has a massive garage.20170512_175554.jpg
And yes... I pulled my truck in their garage :rofl:there is a foot behind the truck and then the room you see in front. It has a drop down ladder with a massive attic above the garage.
