So I recently found a rear end with shocks and disc brakes local pickup for $150 obo.
Does anyone know if this would bolt on to my 5-lug?00404_bLCZA6c7pZG_600x450.jpg

I saw that on craigslist. From looking at it, that does not look like a tacoma axle. What tacoma comes with disc brakes in the rear?

NO Tacoma comes with rear disc std.

Some folks have gone to the effort to convert to rear disc. But not many. So I doubt it's a Tacoma rear.

I bit and texted him to see what they say. Which I suspect will be nothing or a bunch of lip.

Answer: 'I'm sorry I put the wrong thing I'm posting for my Uncle it's from a Tundra'

    So, honest mistake.

Edit, see the OP already had a response.

Certain year range Sequoia, most T100, and 2nd Gen non-electronic locker 8" TRD/SR5/Base Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and 4x2 rear-ends, will in theory, fit on ours.

Tacoma TRD models with the electronic locker are a no-bueno. I believe this covers all TRD Off-Road versions, and Sport versions from 2009 and newer.

    Just an FYI.

The size for the rear gears is known as Toyota 8.4. Identical to the T100 and early Tundras. If you have a 3.30 rear geared truck the 3rd member is slightly different in size. A 4 cylinder Prerunner has 4.10 gears and the 3rd member should be a direct swap if you have a 3.58 geared truck. The TRD trucks have the Toyota 8.2 and the newer 3rd gen trucks use the 8.75 rear gears.
