    eldorado just after pollock pines is my usual spot there are plenty of places to turn off and camp if you want a designated camp ground then they are pretty much all closed up there till memorial day weekend but dirt roads are open so you can just head down one and park
    if you'd like dm me and I've got some quick easy spots that aren't super secret but still nice little park n camp location

    Off 50 if you take icehouse road to loon lake there are some good campsites out there. Also a nice short cut to Tahoe from there.

    @CrashN'Burn @EatSleepTacos @Overlanerd

    Didn't get caught up in the thread but yeah I have 4.56 gears from ECGS in my 6spd manual and 33s. My speedo was way off, then I bought a Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator, and so now it's only a little bit off :annoyed:

    Nah I'm pretty sure I just didn't set it up correctly. Had to use a PC with the software it came with and I hadn't use one of those in over 10 years.

    Are 4.56s good for you or are you overgeared? Would 4.10s have been better?

    It's def better on the trail having more power. If it was my DD it would kinda suck. High RPMs on the freeway

    IMO stock 3.73 to 4.10 is not worth the labor.
