What do you all think about the rust condition on this 04?

Who painted the frame? It would be nice to see before it was painted. The spare and front driveshaft have a fair amount of surface rust so I'd imagine the whole frame looked similar before it was painted. Most likely it was as bad as the rear driveshaft & third member which could just be surface rust. The thing you gotta do is hit it with a pointy hammer or big screw driver around the front leaf spring hangers and anywhere else that usually rust out to see if the paint is hiding something. Hard to tell without doing that - especially without hi-resolution closeups of the most common problem areas. People can bondo stuff to look good too so you really gotta hit it to know for sure.

Well you should be good to go then. It would have to be in the ocean to rust through in a matter of 3 years. The shot of the back of the rear axle housing is weird - like it was just painted over and there was severe rusting on it. That's the only thing I'm seeing at this point then.
