    I have a 1997 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 4x4
Did a full rebuild on motor
Tried starting it , seen spark down by the starter , heard the clicking sound from the starter I believe trying to start . purchased a new battery then a starter. Still wouldn't start heard same clicking didn't change anything now no clicking. Could this be bad wires to the starter from the fuse box?
    Or starter relay?

    Need help

verify that the ground wires on the block, from firewall to cylinder head and negative cable to chassis are tight.

Also verify you have 12 volts at the big starter post. Just had one today that the cable had acid rotted in the middle. Right under the crank pulley.

when you say you saw spark was that on a meter or an actual spark? If its an actual spark something is loose and or not making contact or not connected.

So I figured where the spark was coming from, it the ground wire that is by the starter connector and positive wire. Now my question is. Where does that ground wire go?

I would guess the wire broke off at the connector on the starter. It should go on the little post if its a smaller gauge wire.

The ground that's down right by the starter positive and the connector. It was bent around n connected to the engine mount " Buddie fault" it goes to the frame by the starter correct?

Bad ground, Buddie had the ground attached to the motor mount, smh . Connected to the block under starter.

Ahh so the motor mount was insulating the ground from the block.
