Installed mine 4 weeks ago. Job was pretty easy, just really messy with all the grease. (See attached files below on Drive Shaft Components / Removal / Install) Be sure to rent/borrow a slide hammer from a local auto parts store to properly pull out the inner CV shaft from the front differential. Seems like a good quality boot. Two kits are required to do both driver and passenger sides. One single kit comes with an inner and an outer boot, plus (2) large clamps. Not sure why the (2) smaller clamps are not included. I ended up using my existing ones by carefully using a screwdriver and needle nose pliers to open the smaller clamps and then re-use on the new boots. Be sure to by some grease to repack the joints. SDHQ sells this too. Everything worked out well!

Ordered two sets. Discovered a torn inner yesterday finishing up my winch install. Not what I wanted to see a week before a camping trip.

Most people that come in the store do a 50/50 mix of the Bel-Ray Anti-Seize compound and the Swepco 101 Moly

We do not include the smaller clamp for the inner boot because the boot is tight enough around the axle that it is not needed. We can start to include it if people would like, but it just adds more parts to the kit which in turn raises the price of the kit. Most people also over-tighten the smaller clamp which result in people tearing the boot.

In that case, i will put them on without using any clamp on the small side.. Only if we knew that they are tight fitted. I'm sure there won't be any complaint or ??? Thanns!
