Thanks man, yeah, I can give him some shit for sure but I'll wait till after things are done and cleaned so he doesn't think I'm knocking the truck too much. We haven't actually worked out the details on the purchase yet, I may swap him my motorhome or something so I'll wait till that's done. I did tell him when I was cleaning it I found a work Christmas card from 2012 under the seat and I handed it to my son saying "see what's in here" to which he responded "I'm pretty sure it's hep-c". I also told him the trucks going to make me famous when I win the nobel peace prize for discovering so many new forms of life living in the thing.

I'm going to do a super light build, I wanted to put sliders on it for him back in the day but he couldn't handle welding anything to the frame. So I'll do sliders, a winch, some of the basics like that to get me stuck 100 feet further down the trail than I would if it were stock. I'll also do a shell and roof rack when I find super good deals on them but this will mostly be my travel rig and not used much around town and I only drive maybe 6,000 miles a year anyway outside of the annual road trip.

Glad you can take the joking around and giving you a little crap earlier.. And also see some humor in it being dirty etc. And you didn't get butt hurt.

I'm interested to see how much better it looks once you get it cleaned up.. Looks like in the second pic, you already made a noticeable difference, looks a lot better.

You guys asked for before/after shots so here you go. I figure it's the least I owe you all after the amount of shit (and help) you guys gave me :) I have the drivers seat done, I moved the cover over and lower foam piece to the passenger side just to keep the patched and more worn side on the inside of the truck. I'm pretty happy with the results but I'm kind of a bad ass so I expected nothing less.
