Was originally on 3rd notch, gave me 1.75". 4th notch gave me a bit over 2". AAL with overload removed gave me 1.5".

Decided on the 650# springs.....I'll try to remember to update this post once I get them installed and then once I get my aluminum armour on.

So you had to buy the 650 spring on top of the 6112 kit? How much for the spring and where? Please post pics also of the armor your getting? Sounds like its going to be a sweet setup.

Yes, I had to buy the Eiback springs separately since the 600# ones that come in the kit may be somewhat lacking when it comes to supporting the armour. I got mine locally but sells them.

I will try to remember to put up some pictures once I get my CBI kit mid July. The plan is for aluminum front bumper w/9500lb winch, aluminum skids, sliders and rear bumper with dual swing outs for tire/fuel. Thanks, I hope it's a sweet setup for what it's costing me (crappy Canadian dollar). I am also buying the overland bedrack but that won't be installed until next year once I sell my cap/shell and buy a RTT.

Install going in this weekend. Been back and forth on the front clip location with Dakars in the rear. I think I'm going with the clip 3 location first and see how it measures out

Just for reference, I have a Dakar pack with the top OL out and the 6112s set on the 4th and the truck sits pretty much level.

The leafs are pretty stout. I haven't really loaded them down a shit ton, but even packed for vacations, they have never drooped.

2 month update after many miles. A few round trips from Reverlstoke to Edmonton and a trip to Vancouver Island fully loaded with a week of camping gear, two adults and 3 whitewater Kayaks on top of the canopy. Plenty of very rough logging roads and stuff. I am set on the 3rd notch with Air Lift bags in the rear, a steel All-Pro front bumper and a leer 100R canopy. fully loaded it would still hit the factory bumps in the front but I made a couple day trips leaving most of the gear at the campsite, just 2 kayaks and two adults, and the ride was way smoother. The front suspension is working very well. Although it is noticeably on the soft side, 650lb springs would probably feel just right.

Before instal the front was even at 19.5" on both sides. For the first few weeks after I was at 21.5", so 1.5" over stock but 2" from where I started. I just measured with about 10 psi in the bags putting the rear at 22.25", the fronts are still even at 21.25", so it has settled 1/4 inch. Still not bad considering the extra weight I have upfront.

When I get new rear springs I will most likely set them to the 5th notch and will be adding super bumps to the front as soon as I can. So far very happy with the 6112's.

Install and alignment went well. So far extremely impressed with how it rides.
Ended up at the 4th notch with the Dakars in the rear and sitting with a nice rake

Just a little more beefy than the stockers...LOL

I hope with my 650# springs (set on 4th notch) I don't get much higher than that without my bumper, winch and skids.

Lol yeah just a hair beefer and it actually rides a hell of lot better. I think you should be alright with the 650 springs. If you can find longer ones to be better off since you won't have to preload so much

I don't plan on setting the preload any higher than the 4th notch. The 650# springs are stiffer so won't sag as much with the added weight.

Update here if you find out....I'll be using a 650# 14" spring but I'd like to know just to know.
