Strange question that came up in conversation with a buddy of mine. He has a 2008 TRD that only ran the stock suspension for a month before swapping out for aftermarket. I have a 2017 SR5. We got to talking and wondering if there would be any advantage to swapping out my stock SR5 suspension for the stock components from his 2008 TRD. Are the components even compatible?
The whole conversation started because I was given a 2011 TRD as a loaner while the dealer took care of some things. While driving the loaner on dirt roads it seemed to float right over the bumps and washboard much better than my brand new SR5.
Just a question of curiosity that I figured some of you folks would know the answer to. Thanks in advance.
