What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I've just went with all Stinger stuff since my buddy is a distributor and I get it dirt cheap.

For the floor:
-Roadkill Expert (full layer)
-Roadkill Overkill (in some areas)
-Roadkill Carpet Pad (CCF, Vinyl)

The vinyl portion is thinner than I would've liked but it seems like a pretty good product.

I didn't do a denim layer. Honestly didn't read into it enough to realize I needed one. The carpet is back in and it ain't coming back out so too late I guess.

 

After wiping down the inside of all 4 door panels with lysol wipes, I realized that I am in fact a dirty bastard.

Took the truck down a few dirt roads today and ran across this dude. First one I've seen of the year

 

Yea everything was easy until I had to try to bend that metal. Spent more time trying to bend the metal than anything

Install it backwards, it's much easier that way

 

What size setting on 5100s to clear those 285s?

 

Yeah, it was the first time I used an acetylene torch too!

 

I like the Stinger stuff, but didn't use it for the MLV or CCF. I found others to be better, but if you get a discount, then that's great! The denim cotton is what you see already in our trucks, just put in a few places to sound proof. When you put it all over; doors, floor, ceiling, with the other layers, (butyl, CCF and MLV) then you finally reduce outer noise levels to enjoy the music.

Installed Bestop Supertop that I bought Thursday night and installed it in time to use it for camping Friday...!

 

I found it a PITA when I installed my UCAs... but it seemed pretty easy the second time I did it.

Finished up my auxillary battery box for my truck. Mounted it on the receiver hitch inside the area where the spare tire goes so its under the bed.
