Makes it annoying to reach in with cap door open and tailgate closed. Shocks didn't want to come off easily will try when I have more time.

Definitely something wrong... I can see how that's annoying. Take it back to the dealer to fix it. You shouldn't have to mess with it.

I bought it used. The more I look at it and the hinges I'd say the shocks extended length is too short.

Can anyone measure the extended length of there shock on their leer 100xq? Ie when the door is open? I'll just buy a set online with the correct measurements.

I had my 100XQ installed Friday. Love the topper, but not excited about how it comes right to the top of the TRD decal. Probably going to just remove the decals.

100XQ with Decal removed! I found out that the sticker didn't make the car go faster. Take it off!!

With the cap on I agree your trucks looks so much cleaner without the trd decals. I'm surprised I'm saying this as I usually prefer the trd decals. Huge improvement. Nice truck.

Thanks, it's just a 3/1 leveling kit from Low Range Offroad. But instead of using the rear spacer I did the AAL that they sell. Tires are 285/70/17.

Does anyone have an invoice sheet or something with actual topper prices? I just went in to check out a Snugtop Xtra Vision topper and I'm trying to figure out what a good deal is for it.. The price they gave me was: $2786 base price, $120 for the fold down slider, $100 for labor, and then tax (comes out to about 3250). He said he would do it for $3100. Its the 5 foot version, for a '17 DCSB SR5 quicksand. If anyone else has a snugtop XV i would love to hear what you paid for it. Thanks.

(if this is not a good thread to ask about it, my apologies, I will gladly remove and post elsewhere)

I had a hard time finding pictures of a Rhino Rack Pioneer platform rack on a 3rd gen Tacoma long bed topper, so figured I'd post so people know what it looks like. I went with the 60" x 49"

My Leer ran me about 2800 with slider, carpet, light, and Thule rack, installed. I suggest you call the 3 nearest dealers to see what differences they have in price for the topper you want.

Most definitely shop around. I was able to save over $500 dollars on the exact same shell by driving an extra hour away from home.

I called three places and they were only about $100 difference. $500 seems a little hard at least from what I experienced unless it's one bozo that's upcharging everyone. Has anyone gotten $500 or more off?

I don't think I've posted this yet. ARE MX series. Free interior liner, dog screens, no trim, double T locks.
