Hey guys. I have an 03 extended cab 4wd. Leafs need to be replaced. I have used the truck as a truck, overloaded it too many time and they are shot. I dont want to lift it. I want stock height if i can. Are there any reasonably priced options that anyone can suggest? Or should i just go with a heavy duty helper spring. Thank you in advance..Rob

I would go the Firestone air bag route. You can adjust the air pressure to get the stock height back and gain capacity, but not lose ride comfort.

there really is only one good choice if you use your truck to haul stuff and don't want any lift and that is the general HD springs, they give you an extra 400 lbs cargo hauling capacity. it will still be about 1 1/2" higher just because the original springs have on average sagged that much over the years.

if you want to play around and off road and stuff with the truck then any spring works and there are many better/softer riding springs for of roading if hauling stuff isn't the main goal.

they are not side specific so just order two of them and thank me later http://www.generalspringkc.com/product_p/90-237hd.htm

Not sure if you have ordered yet or not, but I third the opinion to get the General Springs. Be sure to let us know how they turn out when you install them!
