So I'm at Charles Maund getting some warranty work and I take a walk around the lot looking for cool tacos. I find this one since it stands out.



Then I saw the extra tag:



Buyer beware LOL... $9999 for a "6 inch custom lift" which is a much cheaper spacer lift. OMG



Do people fall for this shit?

 

Sadly yes. Its absolute crap that they sell a spacer lift for $10k and then charge you $200 for nitrogen tires. I would walk into the dealership and tell them theyre terrible people for doing that kind of stuff and there's a reason why that truck hasnt sold.

 

And those billies are probably crying right now from being stretched to the max.

 

Only positive is it should be covered under factory/dealer warrenty but still it's not worth it. An what's the pride in buying when you can build yours the way as you see fit.

Not too bad... they tried asking $8k for the "custom 3" lift" on our runner... Ended up getting it for less than $2k over our final negotiated price which was less than the wheels and tires were worth. But we had a good laugh at the salesman when he was trying to justify it

 

Building mine to be stealthy when I get around to it.
