Pretty much yeah, they did the clutch assembly and resurfaced my flywheel. Clutch jobs are pricey whether you have a 4x4 or 4x2 because the transmission has to come out, but places like Toyota are going to be way more expensive than a one-off transmission or mechanic's shop. Only problem with those is that they can be risky as far as trustworthy work goes...I initially took my truck to what I was told was a reputable local trans shop and they put my clutch in backwards (long, frustrating story....) so I ended up taking it Toyota last minute because I needed it done quickly and done right. Cost me an arm and a leg though all in all. Next time I'm going to hit up a different shop and take more time to do my research on them.

Oh man horrible! I can't believe backwards! W
Backwards!! Oh my good gosh... I wanted to take mine to a trans shop but like you didn't know who to trust. I work with a guy who does all his own work, he's been working on farm equipment and gas engines. Him and I were going to do my t.o. bearing but then i heard the noise and didn't want to wait any longer.
