I am on the hunt for a new front suspension for my rig, I want King Coilovers and a UCA for whatever brand.
Any deals you guys might know about? Or where could I get the best bank for my buck?

Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
Wells Fargo is a pretty good "Bank for your buck" haha To have King Coilovers and Best bang for your buck for suspension you are on opposite sides of the spectrum. Kings being on the high end. I chose Toytec because they are not shitty and they are not overly expensive. Kind of right in the middle. If I was to do it again I might go the Old Man Emu setup. I've heard more praise on the OME stuff.

Are toytec and OME built with similar quality as king?

Is there a specific reason why you would choose OME if you were to do everything again

talk to marie over @HeadStrong Off-Road. She can answer all your questions just shoot her a pm.

As far as companies with the best prices @HeadStrong Off-Road is usually a fair bit cheaper than the rest you'll come across, and the customer service is bar non.

For king stuff I tend to go with down south motorsports. King is top notch coilovers with no weakness and a great company to deal with in case of an issue. Toytec and ome are cheaper options that are more realistic for many off roaders that don't need superior suspension that can take the more serious of trail driving. I have kings on my truck and to me, no suspension company can touch their stuff. They are also big in the race scene with their products and support a lot of the big names out there. Def won't be cutting any corners with king.

It really depends on what you are trying to do with the truck. Kings are height-adjustable, racing coilovers with reserviors. You can select different spring stiffness depending on the weight of your setup. They are very high quality, can take a beating, can be ravalved/adjusted, and can be rebuilt after 40k-60k miles instead of being disposable parts. They are not cheap at about $900 for a pair. For most users they are overkill, but many agree they are top notch as far as stock replacement front suspension goes.

The OME front setup can be had for about $600. They are tried and true, but aren't gonna win you any baja 1000's. They are not height adjustable - youre gonna get about 2.5" of lift and then can add spacers if more is desired. You select the stiffness based on the springs you purchase with them. These dont have reserviors. They also are more-or-less disposable in that after a certain mileage when the springs and shocks wear out they would need to be replaced instead of rebuilt. Biggest complaint with OME front setup is "over speedbump go clank" it can be quite surprising and jarring the first few times.

build quality was in a different league compared to the other stuff. Customer service is one of the best in the business and the ride quality is night and day compared to toyotec.

toyotec is going to run you around $500 for the cheapest options (i think)

for around $950 you can pick up a set of kings. If your serious about your truck, you will just end up buying the kings eventually anyways so spend the money now.

Just to try something different. I have the adjustable coilovers, Bilstein height adjustable 5100 shocks and Eibach springs. for my purposes they work great. On road handling is very good and I can take it off roading. Not gonna jump the pickup and it's only got a V6. I would try OME just to try something different. I've met a few people where I live that have the OME and they speak highly of them. With my pickup being only a V6 I don't want to go anything bigger than a 32" tire. Tires get heavy and once I'm over that height I might as well get a V8 to lug them around :) But that's a whole different argument there. I commute in my pickup and mildly offroad so the Toytecs work great for my purposes. The assembled coilovers ran me under $600 to.

How much lift are you getting with the kings? Looks like some decent preload.

    We all "need" King's, man.

But in reality, why do you need them? You're rig already has a lift; how has it failed or not met your satisfaction? DD, strictly off-road, or a mix of both? What type of wheeling do you do? Are you hoping to change height, ride quality, travel or all of it? What's the reasoning?

As everyone has already mentions, King's are solid C/O's that come at a hefty price. Considering your post, it sounds like you have a budget as most of us do. It boils down to weighing the cost versus benefits; you can get fancy blue C/O's for a lot of Benji's, or if you don't require that level of performance, you can get very good C/O's/OME stuff for a lot less. Just be honest with your needs and you may save a good bit of coin.

I've had SAW 2.5" ext. travel C/O's for 2 years and they've been amazing; I use my truck daily on jobsites and hit the trails frequently. They've been flawless for my needs, but I did a lot of research and cost/benefit thinking. If I simply wanted a couple inch lift I would have gone OME, been totally happy and saved a ton of money.

There's a group buy for LR UCAs right now. Very good pricing.

I have them cranked to a 1.5 inch lift, maybe 1. I have a lot of downtravel left.
