I took mine to Sears... want to say around $60 just for a mount and balance on my stock rims (lifetime balance to). For the TPMS swap I think they charge the rebuild price for it so another $12.. Now if they need to dismount old tires to pull the old TPMS they'll charge you a dismount fee.

So the spline ones require a unique key (socket essentially) to remove them. Prevents any old Joe from walking out with a 21mm socket, jack and some cinder blocks and you wake up in the morning and see your shinny wheelz are gone.

The Gorilla lugs are basically heavy duty acorn style lug nuts for aftermarket rims.

I had 265/70R16's installed today. Noise is slightly louder than stock, but not terribly noticeable. There's some super minor tread vibration or "grittiness" you can feel as it's rolling. They are definitely heavier feeling and have more rolling resistance, but that's to be expected. Outside of that they balanced very well, needed barely any weight and actually balanced better than some Kuhmo highway tires I had installed and had to trash after 500 miles of some problems. Stiffer side walls give a better on center feel with some heavier steering inputs but also less corrections needed. Time will tell on treadwear, not super optimistic given some feedback in here, but for the price and having a 55k mile warranty, worth it IMO.

Just did a 5k mi rotation, checked tread depth and at 11,800mi it's 11/32 & 12/32, side to side wear is even, the 12/32 were on the front and got moved to the rear.
I've been running 36-38psi, they've seen mostly highway driving but been in the dirt as well. I'm very happy with the wet handling. They have tracked well in multiple downpours with standing water, I have confidently driven 65-70mph in steady rain.

Can't really say about the snow, what snow we did get here in the Northeast this year was not a problem.

I did have it off-road this weekend in the rain, that turned the clay on the mnt to peanut butter. Well let's just say these are not mud tires, they'll keep you going forward but once you lose traction best to quit playin and get outa the greasy stuff. The treads do clean out good though.

    The tires are 265/75/16 SL

    Tread Update:

Well I currently have 16,966 miles on my P265 75 16's and I'm currently measuring 4.5-5/32nds tread to the 2/32nds wear bar........ Wondering when I have to tell @Discount Tire Direct when I'm able to get credited for these and get me a different set of tires. Pretty sure its around 4/32nds of tread they said. Going to have to make a phone call today and ask!

2/32nds is supposed to be the point you can make a warranty claim. You should hit that by 20k miles which is insanely low for 55k mile warranty. They are going to have a ton of warranty claims if this is the norm...wonder if a revised tire will be offered? Any way to tell?

That's a good question idk. I know the people with the LT versions are not seeing this quick of wear.

Just got off the phone with @Discount Tire Direct and they said I need to call back when I have 3/32nds tread to the wear bar and they will issue a pro rating for the tires.

Did they have any information about the tires wearing quickly? When did you get your tires?
