engine light

    engine light came on, so I went to auto zone to get it scanned. scanner error code read: P0306. I replaced ignition coil on cylinder #6, and replaced all spark plugs. started the truck, engine light still on. what could be another issue....?help!!!!!

    disconnect negative terminal wait a few minutes reconnect see if it comes back on.

    most likely you need to clear the code then. as was mentioned take the battery cable off for a few minutes and then put the cable back on. Test it out see if the CEL comes back.

    disconnected negative terminal, waited for 5 min, connected negative terminal, started the truck, engine light disappeared!!!!
    thanks a bunch guys!!! my 2005 Tacoma is happy again...
