Hi all. Wiring Noob here. I'm having trouble figuring out which fuse leads to the parking lights. (picture for reference). I'd like to tap into it with an "add-a-fuse" and put some amber leds in the hood scoop to turn on with the existing raptor lights, for cool points of course.

The current raptor lights are spliced directly into the physical wire and I'd prefer not to tap into the wire again.

    Thanks for the help!

Edit: The picture doesn't seem to be uploading with my connection. Just the acronym/symbol given for the parking lights located on the fuse diagram would be great!

Here are those pictures of the fuse box and the current setup.

Hey Jacob. Not extremely familiar with 3rd gen wiring, but the lid of the fuse block is labeled with the function of each fuse. My honest opinion is to wire it parallel from the same source as the raptor lights you already installed. Of course, you'd have to route the wire back along the fender to the hood hinge and up to the scoop, but if you tap into the fuse block, you'd be doing that anyway. It would self-contain your additional wiring in case you had any problems in the future as opposed to having multiple taps performing essentially the same function. If you're concerned about draw, I wouldn't be, since led lights generally are puling a couple amps at the most in the configuration that you plan to have them.
I really wish I could be more help, but if you take the time to read the lid of the fuse block, I'm sure you'll find a suitable circuit to tap into. Good luck.

Thanks Ghost. I appreciate the help. Sadly the jpeg compression makes it tough to read the diagram on the lid in the image I posted.

My problem was that the lid doesn't straight up say "prkg light" it has codes that say things like etcs, h-lp lo, efi, and all these other acronyms that I have zero knowledge about.

I was also hoping that by wiring to the fuse box, I could make the install look a lot cleaner. The raptor lights look good on the outside but the wiring isn't 100% pretty haha.

If need be, I'll certainly do as you say and route it parallel to the raptor lights.

Check your owner's manual. It should have some help deciphering the lid on the fuse block. At the very least, it should have the long version of all the acronyms and abbreviations in there.

So it turns out that the fuse I'm looking is actually under the dash and not the engine compartment fuse box. Found my answer here.

Thanks again for the help. Now I just need to wait for the LEDs to get in!
